The website is run by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) , the financial regulator. It is a sister website to Money Smart, which helps people manage their personal finances.

    'Maths: Make your career count' shows maths used in a broad range of careers, and how it can benefit your career. Twenty different careers are profiled from Traffic Engineer to Hairdresser, outlining how maths is a relevant and necessary part of the job.

  • Jefferson lab: science education games and puzzles
    This site provides online science and maths games and puzzles, including games based on the periodic table of elements and a game to practise balancing chemical equations. All games require a JavaScript enabled browser.

    NumberNut.com teaches the basics of maths to all ages. The site has sections which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. There are also more advanced ideas like fractions, decimals, and percentages.

  • Cyberkidz games
    The Cyberkidz site provides educational games for use at home or in the classroom, also suitable for use with an interactive whiteboard. Games are organised by topic: Maths, geography, literacy, and creative activity, and may be sorted by age level, starting with age 4 up to age 11.
