  • Mary Poppins: Broadway's super hit musical: study guide
    The official site for the hit Broadway musical 'Mary Poppins' includes interactive sections for young audiences with a springboard to exploring the show's themes as well as the art of theatre. The Study Guide contains wide ranging ideas and class exercises to: foster creativity and community; engage young people in active learning; connect to learning objectives and curricular goals; and have some serious fun. Exercises are provided to explore the characters, plot, setting, time period, theme and motivation, and community connections.

  • MoodleCommons.org: free Moodle courses
    This is a site where teachers can upload coursework for children aged 5 to 18 as well as discuss and improve on those posted by others. Courses in subject areas such as visual arts, literature and science may be downloaded as zip files and saved on local servers. Moodle training resources such as screen casts and tutorials are also included.

The dance/rhythmic lesson ideas may be helpful to those who teach dance and rhythmic movement. Some are original ideas, and others are instructions for dances that have been around for some time. The site also includes a 'dance idea of the month.'
